Principal Arata Miyagwa awarded the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology’s 76th Art Encouragement Prize
We are delighted to announce that The Tokyo Ballet’s Principal dancer Arata Miyagawa is awarded the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology’s 76th Art Encouragement Prize in Dance. He was recognized for his outstanding achievements in both classical and contemporary ballets, especially for his noteworthy performances as Prince Désiré in The Sleeping Beauty, as Yuranosuke in Maurice Béjart’s The Kabuki, and as FÉLIX – le chat in Béjart’s Casse-Noisette. Huge congratulations to Arata!
